Welcome to my web pages
devoted to my experiences in Boston, Massachusetts during
the early spring of 2006. I traveled to Boston with a
co-worker to attend a conference here. The weather during
our stay, was chilly and overcast.
We arrived in the early afternoon of March 21, 2006 and decided
to just take a taxi to our hotel. The hotel that we had
reservations at was Hotel 140. The hotel was
a few blocks from the Convention Center but was inexpensive compared
to those closer.

Hotel 140 is the nation's first headquarters of
the YWCA. The building was built in 1929 and is listed on
the National Register of Historic Places. It is located
next to the John Hancock Building (the tall glass building you
cannot miss). It is also across the street from a big
parking lot next to the Hard Rock Cafe. |
