Welcome!! After living in Hawaii for 20 years, I did not become interested in doing Hawaiian Quilts until I returned there for a vacation in 2004. I picked up a few books on the subject and now I am hooked. This website displays the quilts that I have completed.  With the exception of my first quilt, all of the quilts are designed, hand appliquéd, and hand stitched by me.   Ulu - Breadfruit Design by Poakalani Hand appliquéd and stitched by Laurel Indalecio Measures - 34" x 34" Completed June 30, 2004 This was my first Hawaiian quilt.  It is considered good luck to do the ulu pattern first.  Hey....I need all the luck I can get!
