Leon E. Colebank Sr., 77, of
Lincoln, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2004, in Jefferson
Regional Medical Center. He was born Dec. 29, 1926, in
Arden, W.Va., to the late Harder Mitchell and Hazel Weaver
Colebank and also was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian
E. Foster Colebank.
He was the proprietor of Colebank Centerless Grinding in
Elizabeth and a member of Youghiogheny Lodge 583 F&AM and
served with the Army during World War II.
He is survived by a son, Leon E. (Marie) Colebank Jr. of
Markleysburg; grandchildren Kristin, Robert and Keith
Colebank, Kelli L. Jaworski and Tracie Hunter; eight
great-grandchildren; stepgrandson Charles Wood of
Sutersville; two stepgreat-granddaughters; brothers Donald
(Wanda) and Doyle "Kip" (Linda) of Tunnelton, W.Va., Howard
"Ike" (Kay) of Belleville, Mich., Argle (Sue) of Belington,
W.Va., James "Tom" (Linda) of Indiana and Gene Ray of
Virginia; sisters Sylvia "Pid" Shahan of Newburg, W.Va.,
Dorie (Terry) Miller of Rockbridge, Ohio, Helen (Fred) Diaz
of Taylor, Mich., and Sandy (George) Lyons of Arthurdale,
W.Va., and nieces and nephews.
Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7
to 9 p.m. Friday at the JAYCOX-JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME INC.,
2703 O'Neil Blvd., McKeesport. Funeral services will be at
11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev.
Paul R. Stivason officiating. Interment will follow in Mt.
Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.

Howard D. "Ike" Colebank, age
68, of Belleville, MI, died Saturday, October 14, 2006 at
St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Harbor, MI.
He was born July 15, 1938, in Marquess, WV a son of the late
Emmett and Hazel Weaver Colebank.
He was retired from GM Hydromatic and enjoyed hunting,
gardening, and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Adkins Colebank of
Belleville, MI; four sons and spouses, Jeffery Goff, Robert
and Jessica Goff, all of Belleville, MI, Chad Colebank of
Ypsilanti, MI, and Tommy and Michele Goff of Romulus, MI:
one daughter and spouse, Cynthia and Mark Lawson of
Ypsilanti, MI; five brothers and spouses, Donald and Wanda
Colebank of Fellowsville, Doyle and Linda of Fellowsville,
Argle and Sue Colebank of Belington, Gene Colebank of

Jeffrey
Scott Colebank, 50 of Grafton, passed away Sunday,
March 1, 2015 at his residence surrounded by his
loving family, after a long battle with lung cancer.
He was born August 19, 1964 in Philippi, WV, son of
the late Carol Lynn Dotson Colebank. He is survived
by his wife, Tina Sue Summerfield Colebank of
Grafton.
Jeff graduated from Grafton High School, Class of
1983. He was a US Navy Veteran serving in Panama and
Grenada. Jeff was a landscaper for Joseph's Nursery,
Bridgeport. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, yard
selling, collecting guns and going to auction sales.

In addition to his wife, he is
survived by two children; Heather Renee Norman and husband
Kevin, Grafton, and Kelly Francene Colebank, Pittsburgh, PA;
two grandchildren, Kyah Lynn Norman and Kenzie Shay Norman;
one sister, Charlena Rae Cline and husband Joey, and
children, Jebb and Jacob Cline.
Friends may call at Bartlett Funeral Home, 202 McGraw Ave.
Grafton on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 3-8pm. Funeral
service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2015at the
funeral home at 11:00am with Reverend Orville Wright

Argle William Colebank, 69 of
Tunnelton, passed away Monday, January 30, 2017 at his
residence with family by his side.
He was born on June 11, 1947 in Stone Hollow, Marquess
Community, Fellowsville, WV, son of the late Emmett George
and Hazel E. Weaver Colebank.
He worked for the B&O railroad
in Rowlesburg, WV; second for Shaddix Manufacturing in
Detroit, Michigan; third for Fellowsville State Road, plus
numerous jobs in construction in Maryland, Virginia and the
Eastern Panhandle of WV until he was declared disabled. Then
he cared for his wife, Yvonne, who suffers from Cerebral
Palsy. |
He was a Baptist by Faith. He was known by many nicknames:
Head, Eggroller and Egghead. Hobbies included fishing,
hunting, going to country music shows at "Talley's, Gary's
and Sagebrush where he enjoyed bluegrass, spending time with
family and friends, gardening and mowing his lawn.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne "Sue" Colebank of 48
years; one daughter, Donna Stone Pratt, and spouse, David,
Tunnelton; one son, Michael Colebank and his companion,
Donna Kelly, Yellow Spring, WV; 1 grandson, Thomas J "TJ"
Pratt, and wife, Katie, Bruceton, three granddaughters; Mary
Ann Shanholtz and Whitney, Sarah Sirk and Ralph, both of
Romney, WV, and Michelle Colebank, Bunker Hill, WV; nine
great-grandchildren, Will, Matthew, Aiden,
Morgan, Mason,
Easton, Landon, Savannah and Henley,
three brothers, Donald and Wanda Colebank, Doyle "Kip" and
Linda Colebank, both of Tunnelton; Gene R and Angela
Colebank, Front Royal, VA; four sisters, Sylvia "Pid" Miller
and Charles, Newburg; Sandra Lyons and George, Arthurdale;
Dori Miller and Terri, Rockbridge, Ohio; Helen Diaz and
Alfredo "Freddie", Detroit Michigan; two sister-in-law,
Linda "Butchie" Colebank, Belington, Kay Colebank, KY; one
previous daughter-in-law, Sharon Lea Colebank, Romney, WV;
several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Argle was preceded in death by

He was born February 3, 1950 at Grafton, WV, son of the late

from Fellowsville High School in 1969. He worked at Swanson
Industries as a screw machine operator. He loved gardening,

Argle Colebank and wife Sue, Tunnelton, Sandy "Tubby" Lyons
and husband George, Arthurdale;
six brother and
sister-in-laws, Patty Phillips and husband Donnie,
Belington, Peggy Phillips and husband Cam, Thornton, Kitty Haskiell and companion Alan Hawkins, Belington, John
Haskiell and wife Peggy, KY, Paul Arbogast and wife Louise,
VA, Paulette Ally and husband Leonard, VA, several nieces
and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great
nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by
two brothers, Bill Colebank and Howard "Ike" Colebank; one
sister, Betty McGinnis.
Family and friends will be received at Bolyard Funeral Home,
79 Morgantown Ave, Newburg, on Wednesday October 12, 2011
from 2- 6 pm until service at 6 pm with the Pastor Terry
Hagedorn officiating. Private Inurnment will at the West
Virginia National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial
donations can be made to Linda Colebank, PO Box 10, Newburg,
