Anna F. Nuzum, age 93, of Mt.
Blanchard died at 8:55 AM Friday, September 4, 2009 at
Richland Manor Nursing Home in Beaverdam, Ohio.
She was born on Feb. 22, 1916 to the late John R. and Lizzie
(Kittle) Wilkinson in Sandyville, West Virginia. She married
Olin D. Nuzum, Sr. on Aug. 31, 1934 and he preceded her in
death on June 14, 2002.
She is survived by three sons, Delmer (Nina) Nuzum of
Bluffton; Olin, Jr. (Sharon) Nuzum of Arlington and Conrad
(Judy) Nuzum of Bluffton; three daughters, Delores (Daryl)
Bushong of Mt. Blanchard; Violet (George) Hupp of Bloomdale
and Alfreda (Herbert) Fellock of Punnichy, Canada; 15
grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 3
great-great-grandchildren; brother, Milford Wilkinson of
Sandyville West Va. and sister, Correne Wright of
Parkersburg, West Va.
Sisters, Velma Kittle; Zona Cline; Macel Wright and Erma
Fleak and brothers, Raymond; Charles; Clifton; Carleston;
Orland and Delbert Wilkinson and two grandchildren preceded
her in death.
She was a homemaker throughout her lifetime. Mrs. Nuzum had
attended the Findlay First Church of the Nazarene.
Funeral services will be held at COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME
on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at 2:00 PM with Reverend Dick
Powell officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in
Leroy, West Virginia on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 1:00
PM. Visitation will be from 2-4:00 & 6-8:00 PM Saturday at
the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Gideons

Delmer
C. Nuzum Sr., 87, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023,
at Lost Creek Care Center, Lima.
Delmer was born April 15, 1935, in Leroy, West
Virginia, to the late Olin Sr. and Anna (Wilkinson)
Nuzum. He married Nina Fruth Nuzum on June 23, 1956,
and she preceded him in death Feb. 25, 2014.
Delmer graduated from Gilmore School in Sandyville,
West Virginia. He retired as a cutter grinder from
Lima Ford Engine Plant. Delmer enjoyed searching for
arrowheads, fishing, and hunting. He was a member of
Church of the Nazarene.
Delmer's survivors include three sons, Delmer
(Tammy) Nuzum Jr. of Columbus Grove, Michael
(Teresa) Nuzum of Bluffton, and Roger (Jaime) Nuzum
of Bluffton; seven grandchildren, Amber (Mike) Doty,
Jeremy (Cecilia) Nuzum, Matthew Nuzum, Steven Nuzum,
Danielle (Daniel) Hodges, Tyrel (Natasha) Nuzum, and
Hunter Nuzum; 11 great-grandchildren; brother,
Conrad (Judy) Nuzum of Bluffton; and three sisters,
Delores (Daryl) Bushong of Mt. Blanchard, Violet
Hupp of Bloomdale, and Alfreda Fellwock of
Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. |
Delmer was preceded in death by
his wife, Nina Nuzum; daughter, Barbara Sue Nuzum; and
brother, Olin Nuzum Jr.
Delmer's services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 13,
2023, at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services,
Bluffton, with Kevin Hupp officiating. Burial will be at
Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bluffton, following the service.
Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 12,
2023, at the funeral home. |

Girl, 15, Claimed in Crash
BEAVERDAM -- A teen-aged girl was killed Sunday morning when
the car in which she was a passenger collided with a
semi-trailer rig at the intersection of Phillips Road and
U.S. 30, according to reports by the State Highway Patrol.
Killed in the crash at approximately 9:30 a.m.
Sunday was Barbara S. Nuzum, 15, of Rt. 1, Bluffton. Allen
County Coroner Dr. William Noble said she died from internal
hemorrhaging.
She was dead on arrival at Lima Memorial Hospital. The
driver of the car, Sarinda D. Neighbors, 17, of 124 W.
Second Harrod, was listed in serious condition this morning
at Memorial. A hospital spokesman said she suffered multiple
fractures.
According to reports, the car was headed north on Phillips
Road when it collided with a semi driven by Paul K.
Cockrell, 27, of Fredericktown, which was traveling west on
U.S. 30. Cockrell was not injured. Reports show that the car
had stopped at a stop sign and then preceded into the
intersection.
Cockrell applied his brakes and skidded, but the semi struck
the car broadside, according to reports. The semi then
veered off the right side of the road into a ditch, rolled
onto its partially on top of the car, according to reports.
The girls were pinned in the car approximately 25 minutes,
reports show. They were transported by the Beaverdam and
Lafayette rescue squads. No citations were issued and the
incident remained under investigation this morning.
Miss Nuzum was born March 15, 1964, in Bluffton, the
daughter of Delmar C. and Nina Fruth Nuzum, both of whom
survive. She was a sophomore at Bluffton High School where
she was active in gymnastics and track. She was also a
member of the Nazarene Church in Bluffton. Survivors also
include three brothers, Delmar Jr.
of Columbus Grove and Michael and Roger, both at home;
maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Fruth of Vanlue;
and paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Olin Nuzum of Mount
Blanchard.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Paul Diller and Son
Chapel, Bluffton, Rev. Eugene Bish officiating. Burial will
be in Memory Gardens, Arcadia. Friends may call from 2 to 4
and 7 to 9 p.m. today and until time of services Tuesday at
the funeral home. |

She was born on September 15, 1938, in LeRoy, WV to

married George B.O. Hupp on March 12, 1960, and he
preceded her in death on February 12, 2012.
Violet is survived by her daughter, Teresa (Fred)
Osborn; son, Kevin (Stacy) Hupp; grandchildren:
Chrystal (Michael) Sellars, Brent Osborn, Brian
(Jessica) Osborn, Tara Osborn and Ashley Hupp;

loved to babysit for all the neighborhood children, and
later all her great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June
2, 2023 at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay, with Pastor
Glen Hammons officiating. Burial will be in Knollcrest
Gardens, east of Findlay.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m.,
Thursday at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home. |

Herbert
K. Fellwock Sr. passed away peacefully February 27,
2015 at the age of 78.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years
Alfreda (Nuzum) Fellwock, his two children Nadine
(Murray) Cressman of Saskatoon and Herb (Holly)
Fellwock of Moose Jaw, SK, grandchildren Bradley
(Miranda) Cressman, Jesse (Jaclyn) Cressman, Janell
Cressman, Tanisha Cressman, Sonora Fellwock, Jessica
Fellwock and Matthew Fellwock, as well as three
great-grandchildren Asher, Aderes and Evan.
What we will remember the most is his love for God
and each of us. He was always ready to give
encouragement to anyone that would listen. He loved
spending time with his children and grandchildren
going camping, taking long walks and hiking.
|
He loved the outdoors, whether
shoveling snow for the neighbors or keeping the neighborhood
park clean. We will miss him greatly, but our memories of
him live on with us.

Olin D.
Nuzum Jr., 70, of Findlay, and formerly of Arlington
Ohio, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014, at the
Ohio Veteran's Home in Sandusky with his wife and
brother Conrad by his side.
He was born August 2, 1943, in Leroy, West Virginia
to the late Olin D. and Anna F. (Wilkinson) Nuzum.
He married Sharon S. Walter on June 8, 1968 and she
survives.
Olin was a 1961 graduate of Westwood High School in
Weston, Ohio. He served his country in the United
States Air Force. He retired from Whirlpool after 38
years of service and was a member of First Church of
the Nazarene, Findlay. |
Olin is survived by two sons,
Greg D. Nuzum of Findlay, and Gary W. Nuzum of Atlanta, GA;
a daughter, Angela L. (Edward) Legg of Liberty Center; two
grandchildren, Austin and Annika; and five siblings, Delmer
Nuzum of Bluffton, Delores (Daryl) Bushong of Mt. Blanchard,
Violet Hupp of Bloomdale, Alfreda (Herbert) Fellwock of
Punnichy, Canada, and Conrad (Judy) Nuzum of Bluffton. He
was preceded in death by two nieces; a nephew; three
brothers-in-law; a sister-in-law; a step-brother-in-law; and
a former sister-in-law.
Friends and Family may visit Wednesday, from 5-8 p.m. at
HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd, Findlay
(419-422-1500). A funeral service will be held on Thursday,
at 11:00 a.m. at Findlay First Church of the Nazarene with a
time of visitation one hour prior (10-11) to the funeral.
Pastor Mike McClurg will be officiating. Burial will follow
the service in Lee Cemetery with the Hancock County Veterans
Memorial Squad conducting full military rites. Memorial
contributions in Olin's name may be made to Findlay First
Church of the Nazarene, the Alzheimer's Association of
Northwest Ohio, or a charity of the donor's choice. |

Conrad John Nuzum, age 78, went
to be with his Lord on the evening of Saturday, June
10, 2023, with the love of his family surrounding
him at home.
He was born October 9, 1944, in Parkersburg, West
Virginia, to Olin D. and Anna (Wilkinson) Nuzum.
Later in life, Conrad met Judy Rottmeyer and married
on February 22, 2007.
Conrad was a graduate of Westwood High School.
Shortly after graduating, he enlisted in the U.S.
Marine Corp., serving four years from 1963 to 1967
with two tours in Vietnam. He then went on to work
at Findlay Whirlpool for ten years and retired as
supervisor from the US Army Tank Plant in Lima after
30 years of service.
Conrad was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in
Elmore, Ohio. He was a lifetime member of DAV, VFW,
American Legion, and a member of the Marine Corp
League. He loved working on tractors and was an avid
hunter who shared his love of hunting and the
outdoors with his grandsons and his passion for
travel with his granddaughters.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his loving
wife, Judy Nuzum; son, Justin Humberger of Fremont;
daughters, Renae (Jamie) Beaver of Huntsville, and
Christy Nuzum of Cincinatti;
grandchildren, Conner Greynolds, Cameron (Brook)
Greynolds, Alyssa Follas, and Victoria Humberger;
sisters, Delores (Daryl) Bushong, and Alfreda
Fellwock; and a sister-in-law, Sharon Nuzum. Those
waiting for him with open arms are his parents;
brothers, Delmer Nuzum, and Olin Nuzum Jr.; sister,
Violet Hupp; brother-in-law, Herbert Fellwock Sr.;
and sister-in-law, Nina Nuzum. |
