Funeral services will be held at
10:00 a.m., Thursday, October 21, at Wilson-Orwosky Funeral
Home Chapel officiated by Billy Smith. Burial will follow in
Slatter Cemetery.
Mrs. Slatter was born August 13, 1930, the daughter of
Raymond Willard and Margie Sue (White) Culpepper in Electra.
She and Marion Paul Slatter were married December 10, 1949,
in Levelland. Mrs. Slatter was a homemaker. She attended
Bright Star Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons, Raymond Slatter and wife Nelda of
Emory; John Robert Slatter and wife Sheila of Merkel; and
Andrew Victor Slatter of Emory; grandchildren, Erin Alisa
Banta, Landon Paul Slatter, Raygan Thomas Slatter, Sarah
King, Joe King, Jack Robert Slatter and Larissa Duarte;
great-grandchildren, Dovie Alisa Banta, Jackson Thomas
Banta, Kaden Wayne Slatter and Justin Buck Slatter; and
numerous other family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in
1997, her daughter, Jaxie Morgan in 2009 and two sisters,
Joie Foresburg and Elise Fredericks.
Pallbearers will be Joe King, Landon Slatter, Raygan Slatter,
Jack Slatter, Raymond Slatter and Victor Slatter. Honorary
