Suzanne Owens Little, 74, of Columbia Falls passed away on Oct. 23, 2025.

She was born on Aug. 8, 1951, in San Antonio to Fred Leonard Owens and Jeannine Bennet Smith.

She was very active in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She held callings as primary president, primary worker, young women’s president, relief society secretary, relief society president, homemaking counselor, and temple worker. She was sealed to her husband Bob in the Manti Temple in 1976.
She loved arts and crafts, making padded picture frames, and anything Christmas. She loved making paper snowflakes. Her passion was volleyball, and she wore out many pairs of knee pads. She loved being a mother and a grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her father Fred Leonard Owens and brothers, Jeffery Owens and Mark Owens.

She is survived by her mother Jeannine Owens, her brother Fred Owens (Sandra) and her husband Bob Little; her four children, Jeannine Levin, Laura Little, Philip Little (Amber) and Erin Blackbird (Ricky). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, Lisa Gudmonson, Taylor Levin, Brandon Levin, Garret Little, Kenneth Little, Colton Little, Michael Little, Shyane Littleeagle and Chrislyn Littleeagle, and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation for Suzanne will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Columbia Falls with services to follow at 11 a.m. Burial will follow services at Woodlawn Cemetery in Columbia Falls. Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the family.

LINDA LEE SARGENT COOKE, 83, was welcomed into the arms of the Lord on May 13, 2025, at St. Mary's Medical Center.

She was the second child born to Freeman W. "Pete" and Lola Esque Sargent on October 6, 1941. Linda married Charles B. Cooke on July 22, 1961, and they had two daughters, Delinda and Crystal, both of whom she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents Freeman W. "Pete" and Lola Esque Sargent, older brother Bernard Norris, her maternal grandparents Cecil and Leona Stephens Esque, paternal grandparents Frank and Grace Harshbarger Sargent,
father and mother-in-law, Elmer "Andy" and Lillian Turner Cooke, and brothers-in-law, David and Tim (Mary) Cooke.

Linda is survived by her husband of almost 64 years, Charles; daughters, Delinda and Crystal Cooke of Huntington and grand cats; brother Paul (Sandra) Sargent; nephews Eric Sargent (Robin Manconochie), Michael (Kelly) McGirr; niece Heather (Mike) Triplett; great-nephew Trey Berry; and great-nieces Corey Sargent and Cagney (Matthew) Thompson, Kelly Clark, who was like a second daughter to her and a host of other family and friends who loved her dearly.

She was an active member of Dillon Chapel United Methodist Church which she joined April of 1952 where she devoted her life to the Lord. Linda was also a member of the choir and an active member of the United Methodist Women where she enjoyed bonding and spending time with her friends. She was a 1960 graduate of Barboursville High School.

Linda was a bright light in the lives of those around her and will be missed by all that knew her. She always had a smile on her face, and always kind words.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her family and annual beach trips with her family and beach friends.

Donations may be made in her name to Dillon Chapel United Methodist Church.  Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville with Rev. Alan Flaitz officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Huntington.

Timothy Wayne Cooke, 76, of Barboursville passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.

He was born July 2, 1946 in Huntington, a son of the late E.W. “Andy” Cooke and Lillian Turner Cooke.

He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Cooke; brother David Cooke, and brother-in-law, Gary Scruggs.

He is survived by his daughter, Heather Cooke, of Russell, KY; brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Linda Cooke, of Huntington; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Stephanie and Robert Gibson;
grandson, Trey Berry; nieces, Crystal and Delinda Cooke and Manda and Jenna Gibson; nephew, Mike McGirr.

Tim was a graduate of Barboursville High School, a veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam. He was a member of Mud River Baptist Church. Tim was a member of Barboursville Volunteer Fire Department since 1962 and served in several positions at the fire department. He was chairman of the Board of Directors of Barboursville Volunteer Fire Department. He faithfully served Barboursville and the surrounding communities for 50 years.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville by Pastor Simon Morrison. Burial will be in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Barboursville Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 325, Barboursville, WV 25504. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm Tuesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.

Eunice Turner Jackson 94, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Oakmont Manor, Flatwoods, KY. 

She was born May 26, 1917 in Huntington the daughter of the late Orville and Bertha Effingham Turner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, P.M. Jackson Jr. in 1994, and siblings Emogene Smith, Lillian Cooke and C.A. "Tom" Turner.

Eunice was a life-long resident of Huntington, WV. she graduated from Huntington High School in 1936, and married in 1940. She was an active member of the former 20th Street Baptist Church (New Baptist Church) for over 70 years where she taught kindergarten Sunday school and participated in her class and circle. She was also an active member of the Beverly Hills Woman's Club. Eunice was a homemaker and tireless caregiver for her parents, in-laws, and husband. She was a very special mother and Mom Maw.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Carole and Tom Folsom, II of Russell, KY, a son and daughter-in-law, Patrick and Carolyn Jackson of Ashland, Ky. Eunice had four grandchildren, Tom Folsom, III, Anne McKay, Laura White and Aaron Jackson. She was also blessed with four great grandchildren, Racquel, Gavin, Josilyn and Otis, nephews and a niece.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday Nov. 5, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Beard Mortuary with Rev. Trent Eastman officiating. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park.

Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.beardmortuary.com. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00p.m.on Friday at Beard Mortuary.
