Dearest mother, MARY EARLINE ADAMS, passed gently into God's arms on Saturday, October 24, 2009. She was born in Ennis, Texas on March 19, 1927.

Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband Edwin Ray Adams; father, William Warren; mother, Mary Elizabeth Watkins Warren, and five brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son, Dave Adams and wife Connie; granddaughter, Paige; sister, Margaret Warren; her beloved chihuahuas', Pablo and Carmalita; and many nieces and nephews. Mary will be dearly missed.  Interment to follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery in Houston, Texas.

Teresa Anne Lyles, 54 died Saturday, Feb 22, 2014 in Pampa.  Cremation arrangements made.

Miss Lyle was born Aug 8, 1959 in Pampa and had been a lifelong resident here.  She spent several years at the Pampa Sheltered Workshop (Panhandle Dayhab) where she had many friends that she loved very much.  Teresa never met a stranger.  One of her favorite things was giving and getting hugs. She will be greatly missed because she was our very own "Angel on Earth".
Teresa was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Roy and Imogene Lyles, and by two sisters Terry Anderson and Sherry Cohee.

Survivors include her mother, Helen Willingham of the home, her uncle and aunt, Charles and Mona Smith of Pampa, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and all her wonderful friends at Granny's Restaurant.

Mr. Watkins, 79 of Newton, died Thursday, December 19, 2013 at Anderson Regional Medical Center North Campus in Meridian.  Burial will be in Poplar Springs Cemetery.

He liked to garden and loved his animals. He enjoyed being a "shade tree" mechanic. He loved watching television, especially "the news." Favorite pass times were spent outdoors and with his family.

Survivors include his wife: Shirley Ann Watkins of Newton; two sons: Richard Waymon Watkins of Hot Springs, AR and Michael George Hilton Watkins of Newton; one step son: Joel Mitchell Martin of Newton; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren

  1939 - Avie Watkins Brooks passes away.  Some family trees on ancestry.com show the year of 1939 with no documentation.  I searched for all Brooks in cemetery listings in both Leake and Scott counties, but did not find her.  In the 1940 Census Jessie appear as a widow.  So Avie did pass away before the 1940 Census.
