Grave marker for Minnie Coberly at Faulkner Cemetery (aka Isner Cemetery), Bowden, Randolph Co., WV.

This is the same cemetery where Branem's maternal grandparents (Thomas Jefferson and Martha Phillips Isner) are buried.

On the marker are children Patrick and Edith with no death dates.  Edith is most likely her daughter who died in 1921.  "Patrick" was probably meant to be Paul and someone made an error on the marker.  Paul was most likely not going to marry because of his speech impediment (see WWII registration).

As a Navy family, and as all military families, they moved extensively across the United States, living in Florida, Tennessee, Washington, D.C., and California. With their love of the outdoors, they retired to the Todd ranch in Miramonte, Calif. There she loved and watched over her forest critters while painting, making quilts, pinecone wreaths and all kinds of jellies. She will be greatly missed and remembered for her hospitality, her warm smile, the twinkle in her blue eyes, her cooking, her storytelling and especially for her elderberry, pomegranate and elder-goose jellies.

At Mrs. Todd's request, her remains were cremated. A celebration of her life was conducted on May 17 at the Central Sierra Chamber of Commerce Community Building in Miramonte, Calif.
