October 25, 2013 At her residence.
Born to Charles B and Mary Jane (Welch) Jackson on
January 17, 1935 In Coalton, West Virginia.
Charlea worked in the nursing profession for 60
years. She was a graduate of Kent State University
earning a Bachelors Degree In Administration. She
was an LPN at the Lake Hospital Systems 1954-1969,
Worked at Perry Ridge Nursing Home and Ashtabula
Residential Services and Broadfield Manor from
1970-1989. She was also employed the Hilltop Group
Homes where she was still currently working. |
Survivors are: son Matthew
(Danielle) Harbert of Painesville, grandchildren: Brett,
Lukas, Shaelee, Talia, Gabriel Harbert; brothers Tom (Paula)
Jackson of Perry Jim Jackson and Sam (Mary) Jackson of
Madison sister Norma Wolf of Littleton, Colorado, Cindy (Ted)
Dennison whom she thought of as a Daughter.
Preceded in death by husband Frank who passed away in 2000
and her parents Charles B. and Mary Jane Jackson. Funeral
Services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at the Potti
Funeral Home 2726 Hubbard Rd. Madison |

-- A celebration of Kathy's life will be held at
7:00 PM Friday, March 22nd at Spear-Mulqueeny
Funeral Home 667 Mentor Ave, Painesville, officiated
by Rev. Tina Green.
Family and friends will be received 3:00 – 7:00 PM
Friday, March 22nd at the funeral home.
It is with great sadness that the family of Kathryn
R. Jackson announce her passing on Wednesday, March
20th. She will be fondly remembered by her parents,
Sam and Mary Jackson; her sister and brother-in-law,
Beth and Mark Leonard; her niece and nephew, Audrey
and Sammy Leonard; and great-niece, Lina Leonard. |
Kathy worked as a teacher and
librarian for the Madison Public Schools for 35 years.
Throughout her career, she inspired many students by sharing
her love of poetry and literature.
Her friendships meant the world to Kathy, and nothing gave
her more joy than showering those she loved with gifts. She
built a wonderful community of kindred spirits who will miss
her tremendously.
Contributions may be made in her name to Madison Public
Library, Madison Food Bank or Lake County Humane Society. |

James W. Jackson, age 75, of
Madison, Passed away at Lake West Hospital on Dec. 19, 2015.
He was born in Cass [actually Cassity
in Randolph Co], West Virginia, on May 28, 1940, and
had worked for Uniroyal in Painesville and also Ohio Rubber
Company in Willoughby.
Survivors are his daughter, Kimberly Jackson; and grandsons,
James R. and Mario Jackson, all of Madison; brothers, Sam
(Mary) and Tom (Paula) Jackson; and sister, Norma (Frank)
Wolf.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret, in 1983;
son, Charles; and sister, Charlea Harbert.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the
Potti Funeral Home, 2726 Hubbard Road, Madison, where
Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23,
2015.
Burial will be at Madison Memorial Cemetery on Arcola Road
in Madison.

of Madison, passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at his
home.
He was born Aug. 16, 1963, in Willoughby, to Margaret Jane
(Turner) and James W. Jackson.
Survivors are his father, James W. Jackson of Madison;
sister, Kimberly (Frank Brown) Jackson of Madison; two
nephews, J.R. (Samantha) Jackson of Parma and Mario Jackson
of Madison; and best friend, Bill of Painesville.
He was preceded in death by his mother; and grandparents.
Friends will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16,
2012, at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St.,
Madison, OH 44057.
Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 17, 2012,
at Madison Memorial Cemetery, on Arcola Road, Madison.
