Herbert
Chenoweth, Sr., age 85, of Geneva, passed away
Sunday, March 23, 2014 at his home. Born March 28,
1928 in Maybe [stet],
WV, he was the son of Ann (Pritt) & Carl Chenoweth.
He married Betty Lou Mace on November 21, 1946 in
Elkins, West Virginia.
Herbert worked for the Industrial Rayon and American
Cyanamid, retiring in 1977. He was a member of the
Free Pentecostal Fellowship Church and enjoyed
woodworking.
He is survived by his daughters, Sandra Sue (Darwin,
Sr.) Jeppe, Deborah (William Johns) Clugh, both of
Geneva and his son, Herbert (Violet) Chenoweth, Jr.,
of OR; 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; 1
great-great-grandson; sister, Anna (Sonny) Hamblet
of FL; brother. Jerry (Carol) Chenoweth of Perry. |
He was preceded in death by his
wife; parents; brothers, Marvin, Carl & Thomas Chenoweth;
son-in-law, Robert Clugh..
Family will be received 2-4 PM & 7-9 PM on Thursday, March
27, 2014 at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 175 South
Broadway, Geneva, OH 44041. Funeral service will be 11:00
AM, Friday, March 28, 2014 at the funeral home. Final
resting place will be Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Geneva, Ohio.

MADISON — Edith M. Mace, age 82,
of Madison, passed away at her residence on Friday, August
7, 2015.
She was born on Jan. 7, 1933, in Junior, W.Va.
Edith was a Nurses Aide at Stewart Lodge and Lake County
Hospital Systems for many years. She was a member of the
Painesville Baptist Church, she loved music, playing bingo
and going to Casinos.
She is survived by daughter, Sheila (Thomas) Nelson of
Painesville; daughter, Sharon (David) Nelson of Missouri;
son, Joe (Jeanette) Mace of Geneva; daughter, Brenda Mace of
Thompson; daughter, Patty Miller of Madison; son, Charles (Genny)
Mace of Madison; |
brother, Don Ware of Painesville; sisters, Linky, Virgi, Katie, Linda and Martha, all of West Virginia;
many half-sisters and brothers of West Virginia; numerous
grandchildren, great-grandchildren and
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James who passed
away in 1995; sons, Mike, Butch, Jack
and Danny; grandson, Jimmie Birdsong; granddaughter,
Barbie Conrad; parents, Lloyd and Hazel Ware; and many
sisters and brothers.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, at POTTI
FUNERAL HOME, 2726 Hubbard Road, Madison.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, at the
Funeral Home. Burial will be in Madison Memorial Cemetery.

A
beloved member of Thompson, OH, Brenda Mace,
peacefully passed away February 4th, 2023 with her
family by her side.
She was born on April 25th,1957, to James & Edith
Mace in Painesville, OH.
Brenda spent her life helping other people. From
being a life flight nurse, to a Madison Fire
Fighter/EMT, and also working with the disabled. She
always chose paths in life that allowed her to do
what she enjoyed most, which was sharing her kind,
caring, and giving heart with others. Brenda loved
fishing, and always had a great passion for animals.
She was obsessed with elephants, and even more
obsessed with the Cleveland Browns. |
Brenda loved watching the
Cleveland Browns, at her home surrounded by her vast
collection of elephant trinkets, and all of her Elvis
memorabilia. Breast Cancer and Lymph Node Cancer were no
match for her because she came out ahead both times as a
survivor. Brenda enjoyed catching up with family and friends
regularly with a cup of coffee, and a great conversation. Of
all that she gave to the world, the greatest gift given to
her were her children and grandchildren. Being a mother and
grandmother fulfilled her life with an unbreakable bond.
After the passing of her daughter, she dedicated her life to
raising her youngest grandson, Kyle, and made sure he had a
life filled with love and opportunity.
Brenda is survived by her son, Rollin (Angela) Cooke IV of
Chardon; grandchildren, Kyle (Olivia Johnston) Aleshire of
Thompson, Aubrey Cooke of Mentor, and Daniel (Autumn Miller)
Drake of Painesville; siblings Sheila (Thomas) Nelson of
Painesville, Sharon (David) Nelson of Geneva, Joe (Jeanette)
Mace of Geneva, Patty Miller of Madison, and Charles (Genny)
Mace of Madison; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and
friends.
She is proceeded in death by her daughter, Barbara (Barbie)
Conrad; father, James Mace, mother, Edith Mace; and
siblings, Mike, Butch, Jack and Danny.
Visitation will be held 2:00-4:00p.m. Tuesday, February
14th, 2023 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St.
Madison, with funeral services to follow from 4:00-5:00p.m.
End of life celebrations/burial will be held on February
18th at 2 pm at Madison Memorial Cemetery, 3055 Arcola Rd.

Conrad age 41 of Geneva passed away Sunday January
18, 2015 At her home.
She was born on October 9, 1973 at the old NEO
Hospital in Madison.
Barbie loved life and most of all her extensive
family. She was a member of the New Life Church in
Geneva. Barbie was a very devoted "Mom". She was
former receptionist for the hospitality industry.
Survivors are her sons Daniel Drake of Chardon and
Kyle Aleshire of Geneva, mother Brenda Mace of
Thompson and brother Rollin Cooke of Chardon. |

be held at 1:00 pm Thursday January 22, 2015 at the funeral
Home. Burial will be in Madison Memorial Cemetery. |

Lester Jarvis, age 88, of
Madison, passed away Friday, Oct. 31, 2014.
He was born Feb. 21, 1926, in Stinson, W.Va., he was the son
of Effie and Rent Henry Jarvis. He married Mary Margaret
Osborne.
Lester worked for several years at Yardmaster in
Painesville. For many years he specialized in lawn mower
repair. He formerly owned and operated 2 restaurants in
Madison Village. Lester enjoyed mechanical work and being
outdoors.
He is survived by his sons, Danny Jarvis, Jamie Jarvis & Roy
Jarvis, all of Madison; daughters, Ruth Orgel of Conneaut,
Connie Tarasovich of Eastlake, Bonnie Kangas of Willoughby;
sisters, Merlene Drake and Birdie Metheny, both of Creston,
OH; brother, Dale Jarvis of Perry.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Margaret Jarvis,
in 1996; his parents; and sister, Eluie Rader.
Friends will be received 10 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 4,
2014 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street,
Madison, OH 44057.
A funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Final resting
place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Madison.

David John Tarasovich Sr., 50,
of Eastlake, passed away Monday, Nov. 3, 2014, at his
residence in Eastlake with his family at his side.
Born April 3, 1964, in Erie, Pa., he had been a Lake County
resident for 34 years, living in Madison before moving to
Eastlake. Mr. Tarasovich was a former member of the Madison
Auxiliary Police Department.
He was the beloved husband of 30 years to Connie Ann (nee
Jarvis) Tarasovich; loving father of David J. (fiancée, Lexi
Siko) Tarasovich Jr., Joshua A. (Ashley) Tarasovich, Nicolas
R. Tarasovich, Brandon J. Tarasovich, Cody A. Tarasovich and
Hunter L. Tarasovich; cherished grandfather of Sophie, Emma,
Jace and Mason; son of Patricia Fisherowski; and stepson of
Nancy Ruth Tarasovich. He also leaves three sisters, four
brothers and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard J.
Tarasovich; two sisters; and one brother.

ASHTABULA-- Izabella Marie
Jarvis McRoberts was given her angel wings at Ashtabula
County Medical Center on Thursday, October 18, 2012.
Izabella Marie is the beloved daughter of Ashley Jarvis and
Jerry McRoberts.
While awaiting her arrival her parents grew in faith and
love, Izabella had a profound effect on everyone's life.
Although her stay with us was brief her effect will last a
life time. She will be remembered forever in our hearts.
She is survived by her parents, Ashley and Jerry; maternal
grandparents, Jamie and Dawn Jarvis; paternal grandmother,
Deborah Carcell; paternal grandfather, Charles McRoberts;
loving aunts and uncles, Raechel (Jeffrey Burns) Jarvis,
Spencer (Taylore Evola) Jarvis, Jessica Hornbeck, Yvette
Puthoff, Heather McRoberts, and Chunk (Theresa Curtis)
McRoberts; her Godmother, Britney Stefanski; cousins,
Shelby, Hailey, Rebecca, Tyler, Jordan, and Savannah Burns,
