Edward
Lee Ed White, 87, of Farmington, died Monday, August
01, 2011 at the Fairmont General Hospital.
He was born May 27, 1924 at Norton, WV, a son of the
late French Azariah and Lina Pritt White.
Ed was a coal miner, having retired from Bethlehem
Steels Barrackville Mine upon its closing with 37
years in the industry. He was a member of the
Mannington Church of the Nazarene, the UMWA, and was
a veteran of World War II, having served in the
United States Navy.
A talented musician, he loved to play the guitar and sing.
He also enjoyed hunting, golfing, working puzzles and was an
avid outdoorsman. His love of animals was evident by the
many pets he raised and nurtured in his home. |
Survivors include 5 children: Roger White, Wadestown, Linda
Oldaker, Farmington, Jerry White, Farmington, Dale White and
Ralph White, both of Four States; 15 grandchildren, Chuck,
Sandra, Stacy, Vikki, Jewel, Doug Deanna, Kenadee, Jenny,
Shawn, Jeremy, Tonya, Robbie, Carrie and Chrissy; 34 great
grandchildren, his wife of 47 years, Louise White; and his
longtime friend and companion, Linda Fincham.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by
a son, Eddie Earl White, a great granddaughter, McKenzie
Edgell, and was the last surviving member of his immediate
family with eight predeceased siblings: Hazel Quinby,
Bernard White, George White, Mabel Stewart, Lewis White,
Rissie McClintock, Bill White and Betty Lou White.
The family would like to extend their thanks and
appreciation to the nursing staff of Fairmont General
Hospital, ICU Night Shift, as well as to Jerry Faye Menefee.
Friends may call at the Hutson Funeral Home in Farmington on
Wednesday from 2-9 p.m. where funeral services will be held
on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Robert Shingleton
officiating. Interment will be in the WV National Cemetery
at Pruntytown where full military graveside honors will be

Pearl Louise White, 87, of Grays
Run, Farmington, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at
St. Barbaras Memorial Nursing Home in Monongah.
She was born November 17, 1927 in Fairmont, the daughter of
the late Charles and Ada Pearl Hayes Leasure.
She was an employee of Bethlehem Steel Co.s Barrackville
Mine and later for Stone and Thomas. She had a deep
love for the Lord and for helping people in need.
She also enjoyed cooking and baking, driving in her
car, fishing, swimming, and eating. |
She never met a stranger and loved to spend time
with her family. Louise took full advantage of her life and
loved it all: nature, birds, and flowers. She was also a
collector of purses and handbags and a member of the First
Church of the Nazarene in Mannington.
Survivors include her children: Roger White and wife Suzy of
St. Leo, Linda Oldaker of Farmington, Jerry White of Baxter,
Dale White of Farmington, and Ralph White and wife Michelle
of Shinnston, grandchildren: Chuck White, Sandra (Mike)
Layman, Stacy White, Vikki White, Julie Brooks, Doug (Billie
Jo) Brooks, Deanna Brooks, Kenadee Oldaker, Tonya White,
Robbie White, Kerrie White and fiancé Chrissy, Jeremy
(Stephanie) White, Shawn (Desire) White, and Jenny (Ralph)
Harris, 40 great grandchildren, and daughter-in-law: Monica
Jo White.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a
son: Eddie Earl White. She was the last surviving member of
her immediate family, having also been preceded in death by
2 brothers: Albert and Earl Leasure, and 2 sisters: Rosemary
Snider and Margaret Jane Martin.
In a final act of generosity, Louise gifted her body to
Human Gift Registry. A memorial service will be held to
celebrate her life on Friday September 4, 2015 at the First
Church of the Nazarene in Mannington at 2:00 p.m. with a
fellowship dinner to follow. Condolences may be accessed at

Jerry
L. White, 60, of Grays Run, Farmington, died
Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Ruby Memorial
Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born February 15, 1956 in Fairmont, a son of
the late Edward Lee White and Pearl Louise Leasure
White.
Jerry had worked several jobs throughout the years,
including most recently electrical installation, and
previously at a turkey farm, dairy farm and coal
mining. He never knew a stranger and never turned
anyone away from his home.
He enjoyed life to the fullest, his love for music
and dancing, the Pittsburgh Steelers and Dale
Earnhart, are just a few examples of his passions.
He loved spending time with his children,
grandchildren and family, and was loved by many. |
Survivors include his 3
children: Jennifer (Ralph) Harris, LA, Shawn (Desiree)
White, Fairmont, Jeremy (Stephanie Aloi) White, Farmington;
9 grandchildren: Courey, Tyler, Matthew, Shawn, Savannah,
Cheyanne, Brittany, Trinity and J.J.; 3 brothers: Roger
(Suzy) White, St. Leo, Dale White, Monongah, Ralph
(Michelle) White, Idamay; his favorite sister: Linda Oldaker,
Farmington; sister-in-law: Monica Jo White, Katy; and

Jeremy Lee White, 43, of
Fairmont, passed away on Saturday, April 23,2022 at Ruby
Memorial Hospital in Morgantown as a result of a motorcycle
accident.
He was born February 11,1979 in Fairmont, a son of Eileen
Wamsley (Don) Stair of Arkansas and the late Jerry L. White.
He was employed by WCO in Fairmont as a flooring installer.
He enjoyed hiking, fishing, camping, and was an outdoor
enthusiast. He was a softball and football coach. He loved
spending time with his family. |
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his girlfriend
of 22 years Stephanie Aloi; 4 children: Cheyanne White,
Brittany (John Bonnell) White, Trinity White, and Jeremy "J.J."
White, II; 3 grandchildren: Graelynn, Brinlee, and Rhetton
(due soon); 3 sisters: Jennifer (Ralph) Harris, LA, Jenny
(Troy) Thompson, AR, and Melissa Shoemaker, AR; and a
brother: Shawn (Desiree) White, Fairmont.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his
grandparents Louise and Edward White and Effie Flanigan and
David Wamsley.

Highway, Farmington on Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Our condolences are extended to
the family and friends of Ralph Allen White, age 63 of
Fairmont, WV who passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at his
residence.
He was born November 23, 1958 in Fairmont, WV, the son of
the late Edward Lee White and Pearl Louise Leasure White.
Ralph is survived by his wife of 35 years, Michelle Kay
Prince White, one sister, Linda Oldaker of Grays Run,
Mannington, two brothers, Roger White and Robert White both
from Mannington, WV, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry Lynn White
and Eddie Earl White.
Ralph was employed in the Virginia Steel Mill and loved to
be outdoors hunting deer and believed in God.
There will be no funeral home visitation or services as
direct cremation has been chosen as his final method of
disposition. Masters Funeral Home in Mannington, WV has been
placed in care of final arrangements. |

daughter of Ralph Allen White. However, she is not
mentioned in Ralph's obit or as a grandchild of Edward Lee
White. All of the grandchildren were listed in the obit for
Edward and Pearl. |
