Helen White, 88, of Fairview,
died Wednesday (Dec. 24, 2008) at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Helen was born Nov. 18, 1920, in Mars, Pa., the daughter of
the late Scott and Ruth C. Garlitz Cupp. She was a former
employee of McCoy's Department Store, Colburn Real Estate
Agency, president of Fairview P.T.A., temple worker in
Washington D.C., retired from U.S. Post Office as a clerk in
Fairview, wrote the Fairview News for the Times West
Virginian, she was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter Day Saints, Mannington branch.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law and two
daughters and sons-in-law, Robert S. and Marilyn White of
Charleston, William S. and Sheila K. White of Warrenton,
Va., Virginia and William Foley of Fairview and Janice and
Leon Pryzbyla of Orem, Utah; 22 grandchildren and 36
great-grandchildren surviving.
In addition to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by
her husband, George Franklin White, who died Oct. 23, 1988;
one brother, George Cupp; and two sisters, Evelyn Piskin and
Lillian Fowler.
Friends and family may call at Domico Funeral Home, Curry
Chapel, in Fairview from 4-8 p.m. Sunday. The body will lie
in-state at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints,
Rt. 73, Fairmont from 10-11 a.m. Monday. The funeral service
will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the church with Bill Foley
officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery. |

Kelly Marie Gray, 40 of
Bealeton, VA was taken from this world suddenly on June 18,
2020, in her home.
Born on September 26, 1979 in Morgantown, West Virginia, to
her loving and proud parents, William and Kay White, she was
their eldest daughter.
She lived in Fairmont, West Virginia
until the age of 10 when the family moved to Warrenton,
Virginia. |
She attended Fauquier High School. After
graduating high school, Kelly attended Lord Fairfax
Community College, first enrolling in the nursing program,
but switching her focus to the EMT program. Kelly eventually
obtained her paramedic certification through the college, as
well as her Firefighter 1 & 2.
Her passion for running
rescue first began in 1999 when she started as a volunteer.
She ran with Marshall, Warrenton and Remington Vol. Fire &
Rescue Companies. In 2002 Kelly was hired by Culpeper County
as a paramedic, where she ran for years. However, her talent
did not stop there, Kelly worked at Fauquier Hospital as an
emergency room tech and later as a medic for Lifecare
Medical Transports.
For most of her life, she was dedicated
to serving the community and saving lives. She truly enjoyed
every minute. Kelly liked taking trips to the beach, camping
and spending quality time with her children and family. She
loved being creative, making crafts, painting, cooking and
recently began to garden. Last year she created, Waves Rebel
Designs, making and selling specialty, handmade crafts. Over
the years, Kelly adored being on the softball field,
watching her girls play and grow up. She loved the simple
things in life, like music and dancing, especially with her
grand kids. She will forever be remembered for her amazing
talent to nurture and care for babies, as well as her
incredible ability to find those in need and be their
strength. We all now cherish the memories of her long phone
conversations, her handmade gifts and delicious cheesecakes.
She was a light in this world. She gave graciously from her
heart, gifts of pure love. She cared deeply for her family
and friends, without expectation. Kelly will be missed
dearly by many.
Kelly was a loving mother to 7 beautiful
girls, who were her world, Natalie Hash (22), Jillian Hulverson (21), Makenzie Hulverson (19), Savannah Hulverson
(16), Emma Hulverson (12), Addalynn Hulverson(5) and
Waverleigh Gray (3). She loved being a grandmother to
Kynsleigh Hash (1) and Kaiden Hash (8 mo). She was anxiously
awaiting the arrival of Mabel Mae Martin in October.
In
addition to her parents, children, and grandchildren, Kelly
is survived by her siblings; Shawn White, Scott White, Tacy
White and Brandy Cavallini; her maternal grandmother,
Margaret Jane Ice Stutler, “Mimi.”
She is predeceased by her
paternal grandparents; George Franklin White and Helen
Virginia Cupp White and her maternal grandfather, Edward Lee
Stutler.
A private family service will be held to celebrate
her life. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund for Kelly's
girls has been set up through GoFund me. Donations may be

Virginia “Ginger” Ruth Foley, 78, of Punkin Center
in Fairview, went to be with her Heavenly Father,
Monday, September 13th, 2021 at Ruby Memorial
Hospital in Morgantown, West Virginia after a brief
and sudden illness.
Ginger was born July 22nd, 1943 in Fairmont, West
Virginia to the late George and Helen White of
Fairview, West Virginia.
Ginger was retired from the United States Postal
Service where she was a postmaster of the
Farmington, WV location. Ginger was a dedicated
member of the Church of Jesus Christ of the
Latter-Day Saints in Mannington, West Virginia.
Ginger loved to do genealogy. |
She also liked to play the
piano, read, watch tennis but she most loved just having all
her family around. Her children and grandchildren were the
true joys of her life.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, William Parker
Foley, of Punkin Center Road in Fairview. They wed on
January 24th, 1961 [should be 1962].
She is also survived by two sons, William Reed and wife Cara
of Fairview; Michael Joseph and wife Karen of Mineral Wells;
two daughters, Shelly Eddy and companion, Carl Ross of
Fairmont and Amy Sue Markley and husband Bobby of Fairview
and daughter-in-law, Diana Foley of Fairview.
Grandchildren Faith Foley, Colton Foley and wife Tina,
Garrett Kelley and wife Audia, Jaclyn Gill and husband
Marcus, Brittanie Foley, Dylan Eddy, Quintin Markley,
Brainne Foley, Cody Eddy, Daylan Ashworth and wife Ashley,
Ethan Foley and Brooke Markley. Great grandchildren Landon
Kelley, Alayna Narog, Kaspian Ashworth, Cordelia Eddy, Ryver
Kelley, Charisma Eddy and Jameson Ashworth.
Ginger is also survived by her three siblings, Bill White
and Kay of Virginia, Bob White and Marilyn of Pocatalico and
Jan Przbyla and Leon of Utah. Along with three
sister-in-laws, Edith Darrah, Lula Robinson, Sue Ray and
many nieces and nephews. Ginger was proceeded in death by
her son, Patrick (Pat) Foley of Fairview. Her parents, and
father and mother-in-law, Elza and Nellie Foley of Fairview,
WV.
The family will be receiving family and friends to honor
Ginger’s life at Domico Funeral Home – Curry Chapel, 100
Grant Street, Fairview, WV, on Friday, September 17th, 2021
from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. She will lie in state at the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Fairmont on
Saturday, September 17th, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00
a.m. The funeral will be held Saturday, September 18th, 2021
at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 165
Meadowdale Road, Fairmont, WV, at 11:00 a.m. with William R.
Foley officiating. Ginger will be laid to rest at the
Benefield Cemetery in Punkin Center. Online condolences may

Punkin Center in Fairview, went home to be with his Heavenly
Father on Friday.
He was born on April 17, 1969 at Fairmont
General Hospital to his parents, William P. Foley and
Virginia (Ginger) Foley, also of Punkin Center in Fairview.
Patrick was a graduate of North Marion High School. He was
employed by Blue Mountain Engineering in Wadestown, WV. Pat
loved to fish, hunt, go the the mountains, camping, and
hanging out with his family, friends, and his beloved dog,

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Dianna (Kelley)
Foley, whom he married on September 5, 1995 in Oakland, MD;
three children, Garrett Kelley, Brainne Foley, and Ethan
Foley, all of Fairview; one grandson, Landon Kelley; two
brothers, William R. and Cara Foley of Fairview and Michael
J. and Karen Foley of Mineral Wells; two sisters, Shelly

and Quinton Markley; nieces Faith Foley, Jaclyn Foley,
Brittanie Foley, and Brooklyn Markley; father-in-law, Bill
and Linda Barr of Daybrook; mother-in-law, Norma and Maynard
Jarrett of Fairview; several uncles, aunts, and cousins.
In
addition to immediate family, the following very special
people in his life also survive, Dago and Linda Gorbey, Fred
Bell, Buddy Bell, Tristan Haught, Caden Kuhn, Scott Smarr,
Ron Eddy, Troy Brower, and James Rush. He was preceded in
death by his grandparents, Elza and Nellie Foley and George
and Helen White, all of Fairview, WV.
The family will receive friends to honor Patrick’s life at
Domico Funeral Home, Curry Chapel, 100 Grant Street,
Fairview, WV on Thursday, October 19, 2017 from 1:00 p.m. to
8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday,
October 20, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor
Bob Tennant officiating. Friends may also call one hour
prior to the service. Patrick will be put to rest by his
family at Little River in Pocahontas County, WV at a later
