Some family trees on ancesty.com have Lina's first name as Salina.  There is no documentation for this first name.  The strongest argument against the first name of Salina is the delayed birth certificate for Lina, that she filled out herself while still alive.  Lina gives her first name as Lina.  All other historical documents have her first name as Lina.

  Of note: Artola has daughter Jane Ann Yeager who was born out of wedlock, Dec 1, 1931. She married Kenneth Murl Doolittle, 1955 Marion Co., WV.  Jane spent her childhood living with her maternal grandparents in the 1940 and 1950 Census.  As far as I can tell, Jane is still alive as of June 2024, living in Fairmont WV.  Her husband Kenneth, passed away in 2004.

  1986 - Ruby passes away June 1986.  Ruby is buried at Beverly Hills Memorial Park, Morgantown, Monongalia Co., WV.  I do not know why she was buried in Morgantown when she spent most of her life in Fairmont, WV.  I might be because her mother Pela is buried there.

  Unable to find birth or death records for Samuel.  The only historical document he appears in, is the 1910 Census under his middle name Holt.  Find A Grave has Samuel Holt White at the Old Brick Church Cemetery.  Where the contributor got this information, is unknown.  There is no marker photo.  The Find A Grave record is also where the birth and death date came from.  Church burial records????

Wilmer Waitman Stewart, Jr., 59, of Buckhannon, formerly of Mannington, died Friday, September 1, 2017 at his residence. He was born December 7, 1957 in Fairmont, a son of the late Wilmer Waitman Stewart, Sr. and Mabel Sophronia White Stewart.

Wilmer is survived by his daughter, Samantha Waitman Stewart Efaw, 2 sons, Michael Wilmer Waitman Stewart and Phillip Andrew Waitman Stewart, all of Salt Lick, Mannington. Three grandchildren, Remington Efaw, Derenger Efaw and Hunter Shelosky. He is also survived by the mother of his children, LaDonna Kay Stewart, of Salt Lick, Mannington.

In addition to his parents, Wilmer was preceded in death by a daughter, LaDonna JoAnn Stewart..

Wilmer was employed at Consolidated Coal Co. as an equipment operator, retiring from Loveridge #22 Mine and was a member of the UMWA. He was an avid ham radio operator. Wilmer was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Family and friends will be received at Masters Funeral Home, 209 Main Street, Mannington on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 12:00 - 1:00 pm. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 with Branch President Bill Foley officiating. Burial will follow at Mannington Memorial Park Cemetery. Condolences may be left to the family at www.mastersfuneralhomewv.com
