Of note:  One record is for 1889 and the other is for 1890.  Based on the dates of the historical documents for Edward and the grave markers for both, I believe the correct year is 1889.  And then again, this could be wrong.  The only way to know for sure would be the missing 1890 Census.  If they were in it, they were born in 1889.

Chester Lee Carrico
  There are 2 different birth records for Chester in 1921 and 1924.  On the WWII Registration he uses 1921.  SSDI has 1923 as birth year. His Railroad Pension has 1921.  City directories have 1921.  I honestly think he did not know or care that he kept using 1921.  It did not help that WV had separate birth records for Chester with both years.

LOOK at the Census records.  Chester is always younger than his two sisters Ada M and Mary Lucille.  Therefore, 1924 is the correct birth year.  Not 1921.

Also, Chester is the only one in this family to change his last name the double rr version of Carrico.

Patricia Lee (Carrico) Thomson, 48, a longtime resident of Malden who had recently moved to Saugus, died Thursday, September 30, 2010 at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading, Massachusetts.

Patty was born in Malden, in 1962, the daughter of Chester L. and Ann V. (Burns) Carrico. She was raised in Malden, and while growing up she attended the Cheverus School and Malden High School. After high school, she went to work for the Mass Council for Human Resource Provider's Council. She worked there as an office manager for nearly 10 years until a disability forced her early retirement. Patty enjoyed music and crafts, and loved her cat. She was also an active "Friend of Bill"

She is survived by her son Justin B. and his wife Jennifer Maggs of Nashua, NH, her step-son, Patrick Kelley of Medford, her sisters, Katherine M. Brennan of Quincy and Linda A. Young of Malden, her granddaughter Kailee, her former husband Edward Thomson of Malden, as well as many Aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Ann V. (Burns) Carrico; and her son Richard J. Maggs II

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct 5th, at 11:00 AM at the Weir - MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem Street, Malden, MA. Burial will be in the Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden.

Visitation will be held at the Weir - MacCuish Funeral Home on Monday, Oct 4th, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.

Richard J. Maggs II, 19, died suddenly by accident, Thursday evening, June 9, 2005 in Nashua, NH.

Richard was born in Boston and educated in the Malden schools. He played baseball with the Malden Little League and Babe Ruth League and was on the swim team at Malden Catholic High School and Malden YMCA. He was an avid Boston sports fan that loved going to the Red Sox and Bruins games; he enjoyed listening to his music. After high school he moved to Nashua, NH and was employed with the City of Nashua in the waste management department, for the last two years until his passing. Richard had lived in Nashua, New Hampshire for two years and was previously from Malden.

Richard is survived by his mother Patricia L. Thomson of Malden and her husband Edward M. Thomson. His father Richard J. Maggs of Everett and his wife Lauren. His grandmother Ruth Oberlander of Everett, and step-grandmother Natalie H. Thomson of Melrose, his brothers, Justin B. Maggs and his wife Jennifer of Nashua and Jared & Lucas Maggs both of Everett and he was the cherished uncle of Kailee S. Maggs also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, William Maggs, Ann V. and Chester L. Carrico.

Visitation will be held at the Weir- MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home, 144 Salem St., Malden on Monday, June 13th. from 4-8 PM.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested contributions in Richards memory be made to a charity of ones choice.

Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. in the Weir - Mac Cuish Funeral Home. The Rev. Randell Ferrara of the First Church in Malden Congregational will be officiating. Cremation will follow in Woodlawn Crematory, Everett with interment in Forest Dale Cemetery at a later date.

Arthur Frederick Peck, 70, of 4813 City View Terrace, Onondaga Hill, died Monday at his home.

A life resident of the Syracuse area, he retired as a captain from the Syracuse Police Department. He was a member of the Syracuse Police Benevolent Association and an Army veteran of World War II.

Surviving are two sons, Michael of Vernon and Patrick of Onondaga Hill; a brother, George of Syracuse; two sisters, Dorothy Henry of Elbridge and Louise Smith of South Carolina; and two grandchildren. Services are 9 a.m. Friday at Ballweg Lunsford Funeral Home. Burial is in Onondaga Valley Cemetery. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 4612 S. Salina St.

Frank Marzuco entered into rest on Wed. August 11, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Betty and Ruth Marzuco.

Frank is survived by his daughter Barbara Trauterman, sons Tony Marzuco, and Joe Marzuco, stepson Ed Pond, brother Charles, and many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.

Frank was a loving father, husband, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to many.

Frank also loved St Louis Cardinal's baseball, fishing, boating, traveling, and his beloved Basswood Lake in Ely, MN. He worked as a diesel mechanic for 30 years and repaired everything from giant construction equipment, to cars, boats, and anything else with an internal combustion engine. People from across north county came to him for a reliable lawnmower well into his retirement.

A special thank you to the staff at Christian Northeast Hospital for their loving care and support during his final days.
There will be a brief visitation on Saturday, August 14, 9:30 until 10:30 AM at Hutchens Mortuary & Cremation Center. Committal services for Frank will be immediately following at Memorial Park Cemetery 5200 Lucas and Hunt Road (at Highway 70) St. Louis, MO 63121.

Jack Edward Carico, 76, of Wayne, WV, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 am Thursday, April 19, 2007 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Randy Osburn and Rev. Jim Richards. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park.

He was born December 6, 1930 in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Edward Thomas and Goldie Ellison Carico. Jack was a production manager for Pepsi Cola and a member of the Crockett-Booton United Methodist Church.

He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ada Carico and Virginia Peck; four brother, James, Donald, Chester and Richard Carico.

Survivors include his wife, Elsie Blankenship Carico; five sons, Lawrence Edward Carico and wife, Teresa Lou of Wayne, WV, Charles Michael Carico and wife, Pamela of Morgantown, WV, Gregory Alan Carico and wife, Carol of Wayne, WV, George Lee Carico and wife, Cathy of Wayne, WV, Paul William Carico and wife, Tammy of Louisa, KY; two sisters, Lucille Willma of Boston, MA, Ruth Marzuco of St. Louis, MO; five grandchildren, Lisa Barager and husband, James, Luther Carico and wife, Elysaa, Meghan Haid, Katie Haid and Heather Carico; two great grandchildren, Drake Barager and Gavin Carico.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of GAVIN REECE CARICO, 17, of Wayne, WV, a beloved son, brother, and grandson. Gavin departed from this world unexpectedly on February 14, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, kindness, and cherished memories.

Born on August 4, 2006, in Huntington, WV, Gavin brought immeasurable joy to his parents Elysaa and Luther Carico; his sister, Rylee Carico; maternal grandparents Sandy Stephens and the late James Stephens; paternal grandparents Larry and Teresa Carico; great grandmother, Elsie Carico, all of Wayne; special cousins who were more like sisters, Ashley (Ryan) Mills of Wayne, and Allison (Brian) Watts of Lavalette, W.Va.; best friend Paislee Nicole Mills of Wayne; uncle Jeremiah (Tonya) Stephens; aunt Lisa Barager, of Wayne;
additional cousins Tristen Drake Barager and his family of Raceland, Ky., Greyson Mills of Wayne, Ryder Terry, Macy Watts, and Matthew Watts, all of Lavalette; as well as family, and friends too numerous to count.

Gavin was a Junior at Wayne High School and enjoyed all things outdoors. His empathetic nature made him a valued friend to many, and his ability to listen without judgment offered solace to those in need. Gavin's kind and joyful spirit left an indelible mark on all who crossed his path.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2024, at Harmony Freewill Baptist Church with Brother Greg Michels and Pastor Larry Carico officiating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery Annex with Jordan Adams, Brayden Bloss, Brady Dyer, Fisher Fry, Ronnie Staley, Tanner McMillion, Lucas Queen, Cooper Adkins, Tucker Riffe, Owen Queen, Bryson Cook, Logan Prater, and Isaac Meddings serving as pallbearers and honorary pallbearers. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Johnson Tiller Funeral Home is honored to serve the Carico family.
