MORRISON, FLORENCE ELIZABETH -
Private funeral service for Mrs. Florence Elizabeth
Morrison, 50, 407 E. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach, Fla., who
passed away Monday at her home, will be held on Wednesday in
the private Chapel of Baggett-McIntosh Funeral Home, with
Dr. Paul M. Earn, pastor of The First Presbyterian Church,
Daytona Beach, as the officiate. There will be no calling
hours.
Mrs. Morrison is Survived by her mother, Mrs. Florence R.
Abercrombie, Daytona Beach; a son, Leroy E. Morrison Ill,
Delray Beach, and a granddaughter, Lisa Anne Morrison, also
Delray Beach. Mrs. Morrison was born in Barwick, Ga., and
lived in Daytona Beach for 48 years. She was a graduate of
Seabreeze High School in 1939. She was a co-owner of Cyndy's
Custom Design Dress Shop in Delray Beach. Arrangements are
under the direction of Baggett-McIntosh Funeral Directors,
Inc. Daytona Beach. |

We lost our beloved Lollie on
August 6, 2007. She passed very comfortably and at peace to
join her late husband Jack L. Morrison and she is probably
having a lot of fun as always.
Laura was born in 1926 in Palatka, Fla., and raised in
Daytona Beach, where she met Jack. Laura was a graduate of
Florida State University in the final women's only class of
1947. She married Jack Morrison in 1948 and raised their
three kids, Timothy Morrison, Jennifer Morrison Middleton
and Douglas Morrison along with their spouses; seven
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren; all who
benefited from her love.
She lived in New Orleans, La., for twenty five years and was
very active in theatre at Gallery Circle Theater. Lollie was
a teacher for over fifty years in New Orleans and in North
Hollywood, Calif., and she was a tutor in the Grandmother
Mentor program at Jupiter Elementary in Jupiter, Fla., where
she enjoyed life to the fullest during her last years.
Granny Lollie, from all the kids that you raised, the great
and grandchildren you loved, the people you adopted into
your life and all your friends you had fun with, there will
always be an empty place in our hearts and souls, never to
be replaced. Thanks for the fun, the love and the wisdom you
shared with us. In lieu of flowers, cards, and etcetera,
please send any donations to the: Cancer Alliance of Hope
and Health, P.O. Box 3038, Tequesta, FL 33469 in honor of
Laura (Lollie) C. Morrison. Finally, Lollie's last wish
comes from granddaughter, Megan Morrison via Rod Stewart and
that's for all of us to stay, "Forever Young". We miss you
and love you, Granny, duerme vivin y suena suenos durse. |
