ELKINS, W. Va. A service for Mrs. Mabel Hannah Simmons, 63, wife of Joseph Woods Simmons, Coalton,
who died Friday night, was conducted Tuesday afternoon in Pilson Presbyterian Church, by Rev. Troy R. Brady. Interment, was in Maplewood Cemetery.

Mrs, Simmons was born September 14,1888 in Beverly a daughter of the late John Hadden and Mary Shiflett Pritt

Besides her husband, she leaves  three sons. Barron Simmons, Elkins, Harold Simmons, Akron and Kenneth Simmons, Coalton; a daughter Dorothy Simmons at home; a stepdaughter misses Pearl Folk, Lewiston, PA a sister Mrs Pearl Hinchman, Elkins; three brothers Wiland Pritt, Cumberland, Wye Pritt Elkins, Carper Pritt, Dailey

Simmons Joseph 83 years, of 187 Roswell, passed away Nov. 4.

Survived by sons, Harold of Barberton, Kenneth of Akron; daughters Miss Dorothy Simmons of the residence; Mrs. Pearl Folk of Pennsylvania; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; half-sister, Mrs. Evelina Weese of West Virginia.

Pastor John C. Neal will conduct services Friday 3 p. m. at the Adams Funeral Home, where friends may call after 4 p. m. Thursday.  Graveside services and interment Saturday 3 p. m. at the Maplewood Cemetery, Elkins, W. V.

CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Jackie Simmons, 68, passed away January 5, 2018.

She was born in Barberton and resided in Cuyahoga Falls for the past 50 years. Jackie worked as an LPN at Green Cross Hospital (Western Reserve), retiring after 33 years of service.

Preceded in death by her parents, Grace and Harold Simmons; brother, Michael K. Simmons; she is survived by her sister, Tammy Simmons and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Northampton United Methodist Church, 852 W. Bath Rd., Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Boulevard Suite 1010, MD 20852.

Mr. Simmons was born in Barberton and had resided in Akron the past 12 years, moving here from Barberton. He had worked in the Mat Department for Seiberling and was a musician with many local bands.

He is survived by his fiancé, Tracy Smith; son, Scott (Angela) Simmons of Louisville, Ky.; daughter, Grace Simmons of Barberton; grandchildren, Molly Hosking, Lilly Simmons, Hayley and Trayden White, Celeste Smith and Josette and Clayton Kiefer; sisters, Jackie and Tammy Simmons, both of Cuyahoga Falls and step-daughter, Leah (Matthew) Kiefer.

Cremation has taken place. Private services will be held. In lieu of other remembrances, memorials may be made in his name c/o the Clifford-Shoemaker Funeral Home, 1930 Front St. Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44221.

MUNROE FALLS - Jason Ray Johnson, born March 16, 1975, died unexpectedly April 28, 2016.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Stacy; daughters Cheyenne and Abby; son Hunter; mother Bobbie; father Jim; brothers Jimmy (Jill) and Steve; nieces and nephews Jessie, Katie, Austin, McKenna and Jolee; mother-in-law Carolyn; father-in-law Larry; brothers-in-law Greg, Jeff (Lorie) Brittany and their children Chase and Paityn; special loved ones Brenda and Chuck; many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.

Jason worked his whole life at Brothers Auto Collision, taking over ownership from his father. He truly loved his work and customers at the shop. He never met a stranger and would give you the shirt off his back. Jason's infectious laugh and smile would light up a room.
He had an unconditional love for his family and friends, and a love for rail buggies, 4 wheelers and camping.

Friends are invited to Redmon Funeral Home for visitation Monday 4 to 8 PM. Dr. Michael Thomas will conduct service Tuesday 10 AM at FallsCreek Community Church, 149 Northmoreland Ave., Munroe Falls 44262. Burial Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Memorial Fund for Jason R. Johnson at any FirstMerit Bank.

Dorothy "Dottie" Mae Simmons, age 83, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on February 16, 2014 at Altercare of Cuyahoga Falls.

Born in Coalton, W. Va. on February 23, 1930 to Joseph and Mabel Simmons, Dottie had been an Akron resident for over 50 years. Dottie loved the Lord and was actively involved in her church, Emmanuel Baptist Church of Tallmadge.

Dottie was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Baron, Kenneth and Harold; and sisters, Pearl and Bessie. She is survived by her son, Joseph (Ann) Whitson; niece, Bobbie (Jim) Johnson; grandchildren, Brittani, Joseph, and Bethany Whitson (Becky), Shawnee Spinks, McKenzie Whitson; and great-grandchild, Shawn Lucas "Luke" Whitson; and many great-nieces and nephews. She was loved by ALL and will be greatly missed.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, February 20th from 5 to 8 p.m. Service will be held on Friday the 21st at 11 a.m., with Pastor Bob Fleming officiating at Adams-Mason Funeral Home, 791 E. Market St., Akron. Following the service a dinner will be provided at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Tallmadge, Ohio. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery, Elkins, W.
