  1910 - Census - In the number of children section, Anna reports that she has had 5 children.  Three are alive on this census.  I am unable to locate who the other 2 children were.  I looked through every birth and death record in Randolph Co., WV between 1900 - 1910 under the last name Rif*, with no luck.  Miscarriages or still births????

Robert “Bob” Yokum, 63, a resident of Valley View Mobile Home Park, passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2005, at his residence. Death was attributed to heart failure.

Born Dec. 19, 1941, at Huttonsville, he was the son of the late Bosworth and Armintie Riffle Yokum.
He was married thrice, first to the former Dorothy Henline and then to the former Kay Harron. On May 8, 1999, he was united in marriage to the former Sandra Mathney.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Madeline Beth VanDevender [also step daughter] ; three stepdaughters, Kimmie Armstead of Elkins, Nora Pritt and husband, Mike, of Valley Bend and Heather Welch and husband, Greg, of Mabie; three stepsons, Isaac Smith and Charles Smith both of Romney and Charlie Armstead of Elkins; two grandchildren, one great-grandson, many stepgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his father- and mother-in-law, Chester and Lena Mathney.

Bob previously owned and operated Bob’s Salvage. He was a truck driver for Beckwith Lumber and Cupps LP Gas and was a farmer. He attended the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Yokum Family in care of Sandra Yokum at Box 21, Valley View Mobile Home Park in Dailey on behalf of Robert Yokum.

Friends will be received after 7 p.m. Wednesday at F.E. Runner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Latter-day Saints Church on the Beverly Five-lane. Bill Adams will officiate and interment will follow at Brick Church Cemetery near Huttonsville. F.E. Runner Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. (637-6717) From 18 Oct 2005.
